I hope you are well & enjoyed your weekend?! Myself, I had a (sorry for this....) housework weekend. Hubby went off up a mountain with some work friends.....literally lol. For fun they decided to have a 'team building' exercise by walking up Mount Tryfan. Now I can think of better things to do for fun but oh well....& when I told Hubby that I'd walked up the same mountain as part of my DofE Gold when I was 16 my answer was....'yes but you didn't climb the difficult route!'......bless him!<br />So a spring clean took place at home.<br /><br />Anyway back to crafting. Above we have a card I made for my friend who's birthday was last week. Again I've used some of my gorgeous goddies from <a href="http://poursomesugaronme-rockchick.blogspot.com/">Cass</a> & <a href="http://paperliciousoasis.blogspot.com/">Vicki</a>, mmwah ladies.<br />Papers BoBunny, image Miss Anya coloured with......you guessed it yummy Copics, stamped sentiment.<br />I was going to attempt a bit of altered art too, however the box which I was going to alter is now in the possession of my eldest as a storage box for his 'Match Attax' Swaps. Because they fit perfectly!!!<br /><br />Thanks for popping by.<br />Hugs, Kerry xxxkerryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17848424323762909134noreply@blogger.com35tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5578670524947891281.post-80969659335823628072009-05-09T09:55:00.002+01:002009-05-09T10:14:59.032+01:00Just for you.....<div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEio_gB2UHNBd-FKc3QiO0ceq1qZmnKpBT3odKkT_sSiZkpIrOGVVAu5YBwEg2P8YbX-pcua0N2GAYSwf-GclOlTFdTGMZvpogJxrQKpfk2QS2ci9BzJRMl7a5YeLYX0P5viGCgVANOYbQU/s1600-h/P1010869.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5333745592217875202" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 163px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEio_gB2UHNBd-FKc3QiO0ceq1qZmnKpBT3odKkT_sSiZkpIrOGVVAu5YBwEg2P8YbX-pcua0N2GAYSwf-GclOlTFdTGMZvpogJxrQKpfk2QS2ci9BzJRMl7a5YeLYX0P5viGCgVANOYbQU/s320/P1010869.jpg" border="0" /></a>The weekend again.......yay!!! However, as good as this four day week was I was totally thrown by the end of it. Friday felt like Thursday, Thursday felt like Wednesday....you get the picture lol.</div><div>Oh well, only two more weeks & its school hols again. This one I'm looking forward to, not to sure about the next one though, especially when I realised that the boys will be at home for seven weeks this summer! Seven weeks......arrrrggggghhhhhh!!!!</div><div> </div><div>So to this card. Here we have a lil card I made the other day for one of my friends. Again I used some of the gorgeous goodies I received for my birthday from Vicki & Cass. Image Miss Anya, coloured with my Copics. Papers all BoBunny & computer generated sentiment.</div><div>Thought I'd try a different shape for this one too.<br /></div><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5333745907949921362" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 298px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEix9SbOMvWEqNl7AH40GL_oj_1moNOCCN8VQhdNah63n2H6BSUeSs3-xJspnQUJFWFu24BMz_PgH_16aetDmiYoXqt748wVI45mw1pwyPdBs-k4yIKzIF3TTOHjduYmuYGAisg7YEymAJs/s320/P1010885.jpg" border="0" /></div><br /><p>As for our weekend, football, football, kiddie's birthday parties & football. It hasn't quite gone to plan but it is a change. As yet I haven't decided if I like it or not, so next time you pop by it may well be different again.<br />Oh well, think I'll carry on with cards....or maybe I should do some of that housework stuff....mmmmmm<br /><br />See you soon.<br />Hugs, Kerry xxxkerryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17848424323762909134noreply@blogger.com10tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5578670524947891281.post-6389905871422118652009-05-01T10:47:00.005+01:002009-05-01T13:18:42.986+01:00Not the nicest of cards....<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjyDBtetCJ2mkXW5SjHi6G8nTh9R5sr5m_US_zzoedbO8zGETcS76uVKLhYCeHwXNKASFgbtQajAFPFKaPHFNs_8wLgmk0EQh-0RyJZAHPpQZVogAm68bS_IgYXETcmvukJBc3BJoqWnWc/s1600-h/With+Sympathy+cu.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5330793516271497122" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 165px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjyDBtetCJ2mkXW5SjHi6G8nTh9R5sr5m_US_zzoedbO8zGETcS76uVKLhYCeHwXNKASFgbtQajAFPFKaPHFNs_8wLgmk0EQh-0RyJZAHPpQZVogAm68bS_IgYXETcmvukJBc3BJoqWnWc/s320/With+Sympathy+cu.jpg" border="0" /></a> Here is a card I made a while ago & forgot to pop on here. Beautiful sunshine outside & a little warmth, funny how it makes you feel happier isn't it?!</div><div> </div><div>OK then, this card. I have to say I enjoy making cards (else I wouldn't do it..lol) but this one I really enjoyed making. When I'd finished it my hubby saw it & commented "it's very you!" now I took that in the best way possible, as otherwise I could take it that he thinks I'm 'distressed & frayed at the edges!!!' lol!</div><div>The beautiful goodies I've used were mainly all from the fabby things Vicki & Cass sent me for my birthday a few weeks ago. (Huge hugs girlies!!) Papers are BoBunny which have had just the slightest of distressing lol, image one of the very beautiful Gorjuss girls, & a few bits'n'bobs from my stash.</div><div> </div><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5327840019825449506" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 195px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhGnxotIfDMFDn4cVG2l7uM4vzXf-N7VzLn7by2ibFFKWZYs9pBWiIIE4_1IKPAbRLkkpNOyc0K1Uu-CAuT4JNaDbXcIBjJ2yVYI4RXYn8El_-pSh-uQZ9mVmYWA7-Y-UJwJ0x2Ns6YSp0/s320/Sweetest+flower+2.jpg" border="0" /></div><div>The sentiment is a verse I found on the net, & I wanted to break it up so as it reads in different ways hence the lift up flap.</div><div> </div><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5327840450772397570" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQO2lPSEWtnqgqD-7vcbl25ZRVM8o6hLgek38J8MYspDj-rxsPMK8Sc5su-RiriLoeoPPKYfVVEkUkZDcIqnAF2F_XwaKO3171lAXgOlbKXKwV3lWV1HOIXU8DnBPz_Rr06Kp_uD03Jps/s320/Sweetest+flower+4.jpg" border="0" />Image has been coloured with my yummy Copic Ciao's, which I'm still loving!!!! I think it's fab how you turn a white piece of card with a stamped image on into something totally different by adding a bit of colour. Can you tell how much I like these Copics?!.......lol!<br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5327840796920506354" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 222px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-V25jT9U3HGSyMbfvXU3KL7YpMx2mP_8W2o_kZ8CCJs03tu5i-zEb94P1DbwWr7StqeTK4U324uvJ_FQ-d20_XAexVrIdhP4FCfX-BZjtXc3WYpQvjfBYTs5ziK6pOxGah0pAut9ikME/s320/Sweetset+flower+3.jpg" border="0" />Anyway, as its one of my friends birthdays is next week I think I'll give her this card & in the mean time doing this one has given me quite a few ideas for other cards I'm planning to make, I'll show you when they're done.</div><div> </div><div>Many thanks for popping by & I hope to see you again soon.</div><div>Hugs, Kerry xxx<br /><br /></div><div></div></div></div>kerryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17848424323762909134noreply@blogger.com28tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5578670524947891281.post-60015361867127226242009-04-21T10:59:00.003+01:002009-04-21T11:19:03.799+01:00Now for something 'grown up'.......Hi all, I hope you are well, & 'truly' happy the the fab sunshine we're getting at the moment. Please let it stay, maybe til September time.........lol!<br />Now back to the daily routine of school run & ferrying the boys around to their various weekly activities, having had a fab time camping last week. Some how we managed to have mostly dry weather, one small downpour when we were on the beach one day but the kiddiwinks would have been happy to carry on with their castle building & cricket game! Roll on the next half term when we're off again, can't wait!!!<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEht5e4QztLL5T_JOM3XN11UScXCH3mI2OoFs1Fv6G5ykK52CfvnUQqL9aqghqPZXJ0O1YvyEnor1iRz3k-s94_jiNl1722Y4DOy4yatgLNcg6-9wrTRRzH5dPWbtYY-1kJNbjKxC8cp-oU/s1600-h/Sapphire+card+%26+box.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5327082732997182386" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 203px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEht5e4QztLL5T_JOM3XN11UScXCH3mI2OoFs1Fv6G5ykK52CfvnUQqL9aqghqPZXJ0O1YvyEnor1iRz3k-s94_jiNl1722Y4DOy4yatgLNcg6-9wrTRRzH5dPWbtYY-1kJNbjKxC8cp-oU/s320/Sapphire+card+%26+box.jpg" border="0" /></a> Here we have a card I made for one of my friends just before I went away. She sent me a message asking if I still made cards as she was trying to find something for her In-laws 45th Anniversary, with not much luck! So, showing her a Ruby card I'd made a while back I asked if something similar would suit......answer Yes!<br />Papers are all from a freebie download kit from <a href="http://shabbyprincess.com/">Shabby Princess</a>, ribbon, lace & buttons from my stash, verse from web. On the previous card I made I used a Wedding day piccie but my friend was unable to get one of her in-laws, so I found this copyright free image on the net & thought it would fit nicely.<br /><div>As the title says, I see these kind of cards as 'grown up' probably because I don't make many like this but luckily my friend was pleased with the end result!</div><div> </div><div>Oh well, I'd better go & finish the rest of my ironing..........the not nice part of going away!! lol</div><div> </div><div>Hugs, Kerry xxx</div>kerryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17848424323762909134noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5578670524947891281.post-51740383491398739302009-04-11T15:09:00.005+01:002009-04-11T15:27:39.863+01:00Bundle of joy freebie......<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmw59P41sZAj3Lp2zyAwYAnrGfG_Z2u2e5pRp-aYp8Y77xUaHMRoRfLABuOg3k3GMqXFlHM9tG4Qx7G4QadYZJ7E6yTGN3z2KQo4RZiKzrYUjq3cagebOa6f15BrtEbijf6XtMVdnkOHM/s1600-h/Bundle+of+joy+freebie.PNG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5323436004367396562" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 156px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmw59P41sZAj3Lp2zyAwYAnrGfG_Z2u2e5pRp-aYp8Y77xUaHMRoRfLABuOg3k3GMqXFlHM9tG4Qx7G4QadYZJ7E6yTGN3z2KQo4RZiKzrYUjq3cagebOa6f15BrtEbijf6XtMVdnkOHM/s320/Bundle+of+joy+freebie.PNG" border="0" /></a>Hello on this <span style="color:#ffcccc;">sunny</span> Saturday! (not going to emphasis the weather, just in case it changes...lol)<br /><p>Here we have another of those doodles I've been popping on here this week. I have to say it is one of my fav's, simple & yet apt. Can't believe it was a year ago since I drew this one. The card that I used it on was for the lil cute fella whose cards I popped on a couple of weeks ago, where does the time go?!</p><p>Anyway, as with all of the other freebies if you would please respect my copyright & if you feel you can use any of them pop a message on for me, I'd love to have a nosey & see what fabby things you've done with them.</p><p>Well, back to the packing. All I ask is that you respect my copyright, thank you.<br /><br />Today, I'm having a crafty day with my lil friend Holly who also chose 'bookworm' above to be the next freebie. I've been crafting lots, the results of which I'll post at a later time but best of all Wednesday was my birthday......yay!!!!<br />Not sure how many more years will deserve a yay but for now I'll carry on saying it. At the grand old age of 34, (old being the operative word in the view of my youngest.....bless him!!?) I had a lovely day, & day after 'lunching' & 'dining' with friends. You can't beat it!<br /><br />To my total surprise I had the pleasure of receiving a couple of parcels from my fabby crafty buddies Cass & Vicki. Huge thanks to them both for what can only be described as gorgeous cards & the most yummy goodies which they sent me. However how they expect me to cut up the papers I don't know........they're definitely the kind to look at, too pretty to even consider putting a craft knife to them.....lol!<br /><br /><div align="center"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgu-j_fH5RS55q95pVGDD06dzDnSCmerElhKyyTQj5-fmIqgiC32UPgQbPtgpv7GblJSlvv16_xP5DUuWePPQwBSCFgFiVAvE7LrWCog-w_AJuuV55-wkH2Rpmc5KdHDUXxts3HW4VUhew/s1600-h/P1010697.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5320854833880397202" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 234px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgu-j_fH5RS55q95pVGDD06dzDnSCmerElhKyyTQj5-fmIqgiC32UPgQbPtgpv7GblJSlvv16_xP5DUuWePPQwBSCFgFiVAvE7LrWCog-w_AJuuV55-wkH2Rpmc5KdHDUXxts3HW4VUhew/s320/P1010697.jpg" border="0" /></a> Thank you <a href="http://poursomesugaronme-rockchick.blogspot.com/">Cass</a>!!!!!!<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEis7k03JbwEw024lhOoWXnaSiOn5NFoPPlq9A2Ljk_g983tSVHVvMb8WdU5UhMx9aiv4S4ACrGLfny6Xhr9Hx_poXcRL_JlNNmlFFII81qD7ejh0GguEwG9u8MQlAviHBlt5oqifSbCuDo/s1600-h/P1010688.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5320854225101225730" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 258px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEis7k03JbwEw024lhOoWXnaSiOn5NFoPPlq9A2Ljk_g983tSVHVvMb8WdU5UhMx9aiv4S4ACrGLfny6Xhr9Hx_poXcRL_JlNNmlFFII81qD7ejh0GguEwG9u8MQlAviHBlt5oqifSbCuDo/s320/P1010688.jpg" border="0" /></a> Thank you <a href="http://paperliciousoasis.blogspot.com/">Vicki</a>!!!!!!<br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgiTPsgFXUUOSqnBo08sBeVX7m-EKSNTV19Dewr4MscQoDcejjldFexfOdYW6Mtgf4RRrZlCY_n7qrv_cVI9mDX07ikXPd3SB4YoKdSo5Z1QxISt7g4dSGwak_pT1sVPAppAmYoOTx48qs/s1600-h/P1010643.jpg"></a><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5320860030051247954" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 257px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjpCBm19m1WB3L6l8Y5aowIcgWQyu3b1ul6UkCm0o6FY-arbkYeY38epYG5kT0y7KZMfRjVSe95z3Jcnc-2USxAALHeCaBKcBdTkgpCoca0ge7BSM3kEVKjP5rZ4JDSwtbnLKUKXQtTeAs/s320/Jbc2009.jpg" border="0" />This was the gorgeous card I received from my sis-in-law Jools. This was for a very special request from my friend's lil girl.<br />Setting the scene, last week my friend went into hospital for an op. (of which all is now well on the mend) Her daughter who is six asked me if I could make a card for her Mom, explaining exactly what she wanted on it & drawing me a lil sketch of where it was to be! It has to be said she is a budding crafter herself & damn good too!!!<br />So this is what I did for her.<br /><br />Papers, Laura Ashley & Coordinations, flowers punched & larger ones made with Craftwork Cards template. Alphas from a digital download kit from Sweet Shoppe Designs.<br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhU-ISdJbH3ZXxG6f-vnABCQVjRO2ylHFBj6p5T-xTlwRq53-ia8C2m63cptd0Q2Izy0GM4uSzSX4h5MZm9_lZZl9USysdWf0LhABG-5xse5ggvLn1JAcKf-NH3o-Ir4NLvRo14qEEhB4U/s1600-h/Get+better+mom+1.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5315261002606270354" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 301px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhU-ISdJbH3ZXxG6f-vnABCQVjRO2ylHFBj6p5T-xTlwRq53-ia8C2m63cptd0Q2Izy0GM4uSzSX4h5MZm9_lZZl9USysdWf0LhABG-5xse5ggvLn1JAcKf-NH3o-Ir4NLvRo14qEEhB4U/s320/Get+better+mom+1.jpg" border="0" /></a>I hope you all have a fab weekend & get the chance to enjoy the lovely weather!</div><div>Kerry xxx</div>kerryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17848424323762909134noreply@blogger.com12tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5578670524947891281.post-31625212898643449842009-03-18T19:12:00.004+00:002009-03-18T19:44:50.197+00:00Copics & Cards!!!.....Hi there all, I hope you are well & enjoying this lovely weather we're having at the moment.......let's hope it can last as long as possible! <div>Many thanks to everyone who left comments on my last post, they really are most appreciated. </div><div><br /></div><div></div><div>Well, I took myself off to the NEC at the weekend & <a href="http://simplyjools.blogspot.com/">Jools</a> & myself wondered around the stalls trying to find yummy goodies. For anyone else who went I don't know if you felt the same but I was a little disappointed. Maybe it was just me but there didn't seem to be as many stalls, or should I say the ones which I was hoping for. That said I did manage to spend!</div><div>My best buy been a handful of Copics. I had had one for a while (which I received as part of a blog candy from <a href="http://paperliciousoasis.blogspot.com/">Vicki</a>) & kept meaning to get some more. </div><div><br /></div><div>Having played with them since the weekend its now clear that I <strong>NEED </strong>to buy more.........lots more!!!! lol I love them.</div><div><br /></div><div></div><div>So, needless to say I've been making cards......YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!</div><div> </div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5314612057813792258" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 317px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUCXA4NU4jw1SuL8DqD5UmJM7pZ3obQrUuK_DLMQw5KILAQ1XEVTOdXUe8U7FJMPrFMDjCWAIcQbK031wJouyr-0zsCN4aG5P4_FcR-eltwwVhKGqLFJbNCf34jTz7IRlcstjtGxfGbiY/s320/Magnolia+bday.jpg" border="0" />I really enjoyed making this card. The image was given to me in a RAK, PP's are from various digital downloads which I had printed out a while back, lace & eyelets are from stash. The ribbon was white & I've coloured with it with one of the Copics to match the image.<br /><br /><div></div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5314611638499674706" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 287px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj1wsiOv8XzgO8eXMuBte1vb2-OrLNYovbVOWBJV6eeGxOBinuSo4hbbzDQXqUhnMOAlw-q-OjwGqLg3RyMKc5CyoOncbU1YBLjVIfRX6vncL0x3YpOcHOzx7c_5sKw0pctxlt3SFyqC4g/s320/Choccies.jpg" border="0" />Again, this image was sent to me in a RAK & the ribbon started out white. It has had the same 'Copic' treatment to match the colours as used on the image.<br />I'm quite pleased with how the images have turned out but as with most new things think I need to practice. But, something tells me I'll enjoy doing so!<br /><br />Over the next few days I'll pop a couple of other cards on that I've managed to do, & try to get round to some much needed & overdue blog hopping!<br />Bye for now, Kerry xxxkerryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17848424323762909134noreply@blogger.com10tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5578670524947891281.post-30543850444199378362009-03-07T14:44:00.002+00:002009-03-07T15:03:34.754+00:00Not fallen off the edge of the earth!!!.....Hello all, long time no post.....from me that is!!!<br />As the title says 'I haven't fallen off the edge of the earth!' lol, however crafting has of late. My mojo truly has left my building.<br /><br />Having started the new year with good intentions & wanting to craft......I just haven't & to be honest I haven't wanted to! My things have all been packed up & put away & that's where they've stayed. I even toyed with the idea of getting rid, but decided that might be a little harsh....lol.<br />Think I'd got to a point where I was just fed up with crafting............there, that feels better now I've 'said' it.<br /><br />I have been asked to make a few cards for friends of late so if I can manage to make them I'll pop them on &, I'm hoping that a trip to the NEC at the weekend will help.......well it's worth a try lol.<br /><br />Thanks to the peeps who have asked where I am & my apologies for not visiting my fabby blogging buddies, as soon as I'm back into things I'll be popping by!<br /><br />Hugs to all, Kerry xxxkerryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17848424323762909134noreply@blogger.com12tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5578670524947891281.post-26716451783030108062009-01-06T19:38:00.009+00:002009-01-06T20:58:27.490+00:00Happy......happy........<div align="center">......New Year to all! </div><div align="center"><br /></div><div align="center">.......Birthday, to <a href="http://simplyjools.blogspot.com/">Jools</a>!</div><div align="center"> </div><div align="center"></div><div align="center"></div><br /><div align="center"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5288273713493824546" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 128px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj97B_PGRlBXfKbnJLYE-_sFsv1dI9vu9PoEDZ2mSzeUZCQ3eCjbgrbKEKL4DXPewGDF6WZYFDWcvixHNlP-MrMkHwmRzz_rOQl7yJ7OryQOk3Jiz2ELPudVQ96XsAipJ8UJckWVodVRMg/s320/Jools+09+2.jpg" border="0" /></div><br /><br />Hello there, thought I'd sit down for five minutes & pop a post on. Where has the time gone?!<br />I hope you all enjoyed the festive season & that Santa rewarded you for all of your good behaviour throughout last year.....lol<br /><br /><br />Thought I'd share some of my decorations with you, a lil late in showing but oh well. Now they're taken down though, I can't believe how bare the rooms look! Is it just me, or do others think the same about their rooms?!<br /><br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5288283554191937970" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 232px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiiONhvJ6NjM7PPXxd-ztyK2bmmrtN938V4RZZxxsctZpcm5SSS-NNM5M1Y6Jge4nkruOfPoJjLt3MR6G_BZN_pz4toTS5RCVVMVZLUp15OcGYy7DcZshJo6kv1p8WF6E71L7Nslk7hLzc/s320/My+tree.jpg" border="0" /> Our tree which was in the dining room, also known as my craft room......lol.<br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5288283834923121762" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 229px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjz4eqi4KLKO1i9BRRMFTywe9bMKA67VwRTnfdL6LqGAWBmGN-HOKZ7ZOzkAhQnwS9EhVZoXwq0hZPrpovR1ijXiR3gg9CtTcoBVfxxY68N4aW7VVXSAH1iXNASjA1hHJxZ6WajaS2iWW4/s320/LR+Fireplace+2.jpg" border="0" />Our living room fireplace decorated. (As I type now I'm sitting in front of this with the fire lit.........nice & toasty!)<br /><br />Myself, I had a fab Christmas albeit hectic at times. The new year being no exception, again spending it with the 'family', ie. Jools & her gang. Lets just say we sang the new year in.........karaoke style. Hehe<br /><br /><br /><br />The second of my 'happy's' is to Jools, who celebrates her birthday today. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!<br />Below is the card I made for her,<br /><br /><br /><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5288274430315783506" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 305px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_JQltEuYIDLZgTKUXvLyvRf8Kq_f-8dFCMWv4SWvQkKT9tqZyqu5yWunSV_Og3ITnCB073zlDXtlvd9aWMgNToR0TqOQdOVpAICEY716kU1Q-NNtz5qWx9YhyUYNIoMP9GL0u98h3ObI/s320/Jools+09.jpg" border="0" />Floral pp is K&Co, I have to say I love it! I did toy with the idea of using some sort of image but thought the pattern said enough. The center flower, I've cut & layered for dimension along with a touch of tearing & distressing. Sentiment stamped & ribbons, lace & eyelets from stash.<br /></p><br />So, if you've managed to get to the end of this post, &, you're still awake Well Done!<br />My intentions for the new year are to get back into my crafting & blogging too, I feel I've neglected both of late & I'm looking forward to catching up on what everyone else has been upto. See you soon!!!!!!<br />Kerry xxxkerryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17848424323762909134noreply@blogger.com20tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5578670524947891281.post-31929520851004737442008-12-06T13:18:00.004+00:002008-12-06T13:49:14.470+00:00Cool....Christmas Eve.....Saturday wishes to you all.......said through coughs & sneezes. The dreaded cold bug seems to have gone through our house over the last couple of weeks, first hubby, then youngest, eldest & now me! However I'm being a typical Mom & getting on with it....none of this "man flu" rubbish lol. I NEED to be better, off to London on Tuesday for the day.....shopping & seeing Mamma Mia at the theater! Woo hoo, can't wait.<br /><br />Anyway, here are two cards I've made for a friend, for her Sons. (Hope you like them Lisa?!...) The first one I've used pp from <a href="http://sweetshoppedesigns.com/">Sweet Shoppe Designs</a> & Core'dinations cs, tree image one of my freebies & Harry image, (Started drawing this a while back but for some reason never finished him, but thought he would be ideal.) all coloured with watercolour pencils & clear embossed over.<br />Lil 'chocolate drops' from Craftwork cards & sentiment computer generated.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjIW-b2BAJLzVYxhZoSDFFG_Y3HC882lAfRC7zJtMSpnsotk4Dnk2VTe-JLXC7XZFsDAQA0ylgEp9txqE3D1OPVJJDa9M7_OS8xOg20K5ixHIVpojYKrNeTMvtBfrJ1UrE7mQ78WnVc63k/s1600-h/Christmas+Eve+Ted+1.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5276667211181549474" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 286px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjIW-b2BAJLzVYxhZoSDFFG_Y3HC882lAfRC7zJtMSpnsotk4Dnk2VTe-JLXC7XZFsDAQA0ylgEp9txqE3D1OPVJJDa9M7_OS8xOg20K5ixHIVpojYKrNeTMvtBfrJ1UrE7mQ78WnVc63k/s320/Christmas+Eve+Ted+1.jpg" border="0" /></a> Each of the images have been mounted with silicone glue, to give dimension to the card.<br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgyEAe4akN5GBipvDdJeBUsaXlPvlZfB5AiUOv4Xru2Hoo8a2RwUgpN-0IoQlUlJfOTzOMQgNBJfSN5hHudZGYmesgmmtr47a8pJGptEp8_ZlNZ1SdVEnGN3IoqXGy4oCpV0UXmMDGpkOY/s1600-h/Christmas+Eve+Ted+2.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5276666916345204706" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 307px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgyEAe4akN5GBipvDdJeBUsaXlPvlZfB5AiUOv4Xru2Hoo8a2RwUgpN-0IoQlUlJfOTzOMQgNBJfSN5hHudZGYmesgmmtr47a8pJGptEp8_ZlNZ1SdVEnGN3IoqXGy4oCpV0UXmMDGpkOY/s320/Christmas+Eve+Ted+2.jpg" border="0" /></a>For the second card I've used <a href="http://shabbyprincess.com/">Shabby Princess </a>pp's, Core'dinations cs, freebie tree, Harry & Snowman image, & again coloured with watercolour pencils & clear embossed over. You could say my arm was twisted into putting it up, or should I say the fact that hubby went & got it & all of the decorations out of the garage threatening to do it himself! One of mine & Jool's purchases at the craft show the other week was some lil gift/treat bags which I thought would be great with some choccies & sweets in.<br /><br />These particular ones I have made to sit on the dining table when it has been transformed for Christmas dinner, acting as place cards & to give each of the 'diners' (oh...that sounds posh...lol) a few chocs & a small table present inside. They will be lil gifts from my boys.<br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5274132231366862514" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 244px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhlQTxDm-8Fk7NTacao0P0cR2L6oMlnW2n0YxlKTIGmSRtma9Dv_vgbaVTJRLrw6vrUxs3io7FhKfyr4DscJPLAvb_zRep2L2W5CxyoYH4N8lqk4RLdRHah3XY8Zw0TksAdQZ-Y_2z9nNU/s320/Xmas+gift+bags+1.jpg" border="0" /><br />For the images & scalloped edge I've used a template which was a magazine freebie a couple of months ago, then coloured them with my trusty watercolour pencils, finishing with just a touch of inking.....lol.<br />CS is all Bazzill & then ribbon added for fastening the bags. However when the boys fill the bags up I'll then close them with eyelets.<br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5274132543240737938" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 258px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjR7-6TiozB8pXgY2493mazgiIgg_r3hcZe6QnYKW0gT02zOGEBIBIFoXuBEbMx_6B-QaA_q1SUtkQ-3L1GK07t8CGGPcRad1FnKcq6UKJBseOPKTavTuRMFvaEn-9nJH1QywmiC7PUMIw/s320/Xnas+gift+bags+2.jpg" border="0" /><br /><p>I'm quite pleased with how they've turned out, but as yet haven't decided if I'm going to keep the images at the top or reposition them in the middle of the bag itself. </p><p>Enjoy the rest of your weekend, Kerry xxx</p>kerryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17848424323762909134noreply@blogger.com11tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5578670524947891281.post-11329085448178400022008-11-29T10:27:00.000+00:002008-11-29T15:57:39.775+00:00Award thank you's.....Huge thanks to everyone who has passed awards onto me of late, they are most appreciated!!!<br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5272540279777146130" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 200px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhhdE5PzDYRFJRZVzmDnxkUtW3xrEe1wFyqtbLfwtIwjfxLllbXsFS0SIFYd4UsW1HVqoUo8t7hVNB8eqF_xK7y3PtEeZm-vCRepgpS-aGo73LeNA7BFP5-YqmOaP6YsLzgn3E0n-qLQM0/s200/Kreativ_Blogger_Award.jpg" border="0" />This very lovely award is from <a href="http://cuddlycards.blogspot.com/">Vicky</a> & <a href="http://a-personaltouch.blogspot.com/">Zoe</a>. These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers! Deliver this award to eight blogger’s who must choose eight more and include this cleverly-written text into the body of their award.<br />Again, this award is passed straight back to all who have given it to me.....the award says it all!!! And, to all of my blogging buddies......thank you for your friendship!<br /></p>Kerry xxxkerryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17848424323762909134noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5578670524947891281.post-1687117425146247612008-11-17T10:59:00.005+00:002008-11-17T11:23:52.600+00:00Distressed again......Hi all, I hope your weekend was a good one?!...... I took myself off to the NEC with my lovely Sis-in-law <a href="http://simplyjools.blogspot.com/">Jools</a>. We had a fab day, although I think I can speak for us both... "our feet were killing us by the end of the day!.." lol.<br />Don't know if anyone else is the same but the strangest things seem to give me inspiration, Saturday it was a pom-pom ribbon! Only trouble is I didn't buy it when I saw it, thought I'd go back & get it later &..........yep, it was sold out!!! Trust me...lol<br /><br />So, the card below which I've made for hubbies Aunt who will be 6o this week has had the distressed treatment.<br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwMWLmp6jbROH9ARqdPD4_JTiULQEBp7EsmAjYDlqyWBVRaQEAwAdpAjoxjK4Qb7aKA89eR7P-L99Mny0LovT2n-jnCaWtmiG2DUar9HLalJTfk01zYyl6S2ZuowwueSciZJrkKkgLl2k/s1600-h/Sweet+60+Aunt+1.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5269580036372374658" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 317px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwMWLmp6jbROH9ARqdPD4_JTiULQEBp7EsmAjYDlqyWBVRaQEAwAdpAjoxjK4Qb7aKA89eR7P-L99Mny0LovT2n-jnCaWtmiG2DUar9HLalJTfk01zYyl6S2ZuowwueSciZJrkKkgLl2k/s320/Sweet+60+Aunt+1.jpg" border="0" /></a> PP's are all from a paper pack from Daisy D's, along with the tag. Wonder if you can guess what her name is?....lol<br />Letters & pp's are from a digital download at<a href="http://shabbyprincess.com/"> Shabby Princess</a> ......'Flea Market Chic'. I've double mounted the letters onto card, to give the effect of chipboard letters, so as they would stand out more. Ribbon, lace & eyelets from my stash.<br />The idea with the ribbons is that later they can be tied together so as the front of the card can be hung up, if wanted.<br /><br />Thanks for popping by,<br />Kerry xxxkerryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17848424323762909134noreply@blogger.com10
