A few awards......
Hi all & happy Friday to you!!
Recently I have had the pleasure of receiving a few awards from fellow bloggers, of which I am most touched by & truly grateful for.
Firstly I would like to thank Lisa & Joanne for passing on the 'Brillante Award' to me, thank you ladies its most kind of you. However my sincerest apologies as it has taken me a while to post, so sorry for that but huge thanks for passing it on me. As I have received this award previously I hope you don't mind me not posting the piccie & choosing more peeps, but this doesn't mean the award means any less, thank you & huge hugs xxx
Next, I have been given this lovely award by my buddy Vicki thank you so much Vicki, huge hugs xxx
I've now to choose 3 peeps to pass this one onto..........Kath, Vicky & Sandra.
I've also had the pleasure of having this fab award been passed onto me, 'BFF Gold Card'. Two very lovely friends Vicky & Vicki have sent me this & I am most touched, thank you both sooooooo much!!! Huge hugs xxx
Here are the rules...
1. Only 5 people allowed.
2. 4 have to be dedicated followers of your blog
3. One has to be someone new or recently new to your blog and live in another part of the world. 4. You must link back to whoever gave you the award.
Now, I must start by saying I wouldn't have a clue who is a dedicated follower of my blog, I would never presume anyone is. Its just so lovely to think that peeps might want to drop by & have a nosey from time to time & maybe leave me comments, for both I'm truly grateful!!! So I'm going to pass this award onto, Jools, Natalie, Stacey, Katy & Tara although there are many more.....I could keep going lol.
Last but by no means least I've been given this fab 'Wylde Women' award by the very lovely Dawny (Pink piggy wiggy.....absolutely love this blog name...) You'd definitely say I qualify for this one if you saw my hair some mornings!!!....lol Thank you so much Dawny, huge hugs xxx
1. You can give it to one or one hundred or any number in between - it's up to you. Make sure you link to their site in your post.
2. Link back to this blogsite (http://http://www.tammyvitale.com//) so Tammy can go visit all these wonderful women.
And, remember the Purpose of the Award: To send love and acknowledgment to women who brighten your day, teach you new things and live their lives fully with generosity and joy.
Now again, I could be here all day as there are so many wonderful peeps I could give this award to & no I'm not trying to get out of choosing but for anyone who is reading this now, I would love for you to accept this award from me........by visiting you have just made my day! Thank you.
Before I go I'd just like to say that if you don't visit any of the above mentioned ladies at their blogs.......you should!!!!!!............hehe. Time for me to go & have a lil sit down, having spent the morning gardening & the afternoon at the park with the boys I'm a bit ...........shattered!!! so I'm going to have a rest. I hope you all have a fantastic weekend whatever you get up to & hopefully I'll be able to get a bit of blog hopping in.

Please open......
Hi all, & a very happy Tuesday to you!
First week on school hols & so far not to bad, weather has been good, boys have been playing in the garden & as yet no complaints of being bored.........mmmm........wonder how long that will last?! lol.
Most of yesterday was spent at my Mom & Dad's where the boys were helping their Grandad. At the moment he's recovering from having a knee replacement op....we've told Tom that 'Grandad's had a new bionic knee, so as he can play football again!' Then to top it all, my Mom isn't too good either. I've come to the conclusion that you hit a certain age & role reversal kicks in, you worry more about your parents than they do of you!!!.......or is it just me?!.......
On a lighter note, a new card. Started tidying my craft area........should I say dining table lol & found an amount of bits & off cuts from the last few cards I've made, so decided to use them up. So we have pp's Basic Grey 'Perhaps' collection, sentiment again wrote & embossed, lace & buttons from stash & 'Fairy Martha' image.
Must say I was a bit brave with this card, I got my sewing machine out!!!!!!!!!
This was definitely a first, but I quite enjoyed using it & will do so again.
Anyway must get on as I seem to be creating a man made feature, an ever growing mountain..................of ironing!!!
Take care all, Kerry xxx

Quick & simple.....
The weekend.....yay!! The six weeks holidays......yay....I think lol!!!
I hope everyone is well & if you haven't already broke up for the summer hols, that its not to long for you.
Tom my youngest finished Nursery on Thursday & is now so excited to be going back into 'Reception'. As he says "I'm a big boy now & I'm at school alllllll day!"
Sam my eldest finished yesterday & will be going back into Year 4, he's growing up so fast....its scary!
I'm just hoping the weather can be kind to us over the coming weeks so as the boys can play in the garden & that we can have days out on bikes, picnics, walks..........etc, rather than being stuck in the house!
Anyway, the card above, this was a quickie for me. Sam & Tom had both been invited to their friends leaving party last night, as they have moved house & start at a new school in September. Two sisters each one in the same year as my boys. I thought I had something suitable in my card box but when I actually looked yesterday afternoon.......I hadn't! So, this is what I came up with. Think it turned out ok.
Paper is Basic Grey 'Perhaps' collection, sentiment wrote with Whispers embossing pen & embossed over with brown powder.
Image is 'Fairy Martha' which will soon be on Spiral Whisper coloured with watercolour pencils & clear embossed over.
Now, first day of our hols what should we do mmmm.............think it might be something inside, looking out of the window its just started to rain!!! Oh well....
See you again soon, Kerry xxx

Working through my list......
Well, I've spent majority of today working through my Teacher 'thank you' list.......i.e the list which my boys gave me, of how many cards they wanted making!
Got another two done, which is really good for slow coach me.......lol.
Again, this one is for Tom to give to one of his Nursery teachers.
Papers are all Basic Grey 'Perhaps' collection which are so yummy...........I eventually managed to cut through them!!
Sentiment, wrote with Whispers embossing pen & embossed over with brown powder, button & ribbon from stash.
Image is again 'Harry with teddy' & I've triple embossed over for definition.
This card is for my eldest Sam to give to his teacher.
Papers are Basic Grey 'Infuse' collection, with ribbons & button from stash. The sentiment, I found on the internet & again have used my Whispers embossing pen & embossed over with brown powder.
Thanks for popping by & I hope you enjoy whats left of the weekend!

Teacher thank you.......
Friday again!! Where has this week gone?
Another hectic, filled week but at last I've managed to make a start on my list of Teacher cards which my boys kindly asked for.......lol.
This one is for my youngest Tom to give to one of his Teachers. Next week he finishes Nursery & in September starts school full time..........my little baby's growing up!!!!!
All pp's are Basic Grey 'Infuse' collection. I bought these last week from Craftie Charlie & I have to say I'll be going back, such a great service!! However, having decided to use these papers it then took a while to actually cut them.....lol. For the sentiment I used a Whispers embossing pen & then embossed over with brown powder. Green organza ribbon & eylets.
The image is of 'Harry' a doodle I did a while back & which I've also used on a previous card. 'Harry', along with 'Martha' are being previewed on the new Spiral Whisper site, previews at the mo with actual launch date the 21st of this month........all very exciting!!!
Anyway, hopefully, Tom's teacher will like this. All Tom's interested in is writing his name inside &............ when will I have his other card done?!......
I hope everyone has a fab weekend, &, I hope I get some spare time so as to do a bit of blog hopping.......not getting much chance of late so apologies if I haven't been to visit for a while.
Hugs, Kerry xxx

Cardmaking & Papercraft.....
Wooo hoooo, happy lil bunny here!!
Above is a piccie taken from Augusts issue of Cardmaking & Papercraft magazine. My lil girlies are featured on the 'What's new...' page!
I'm really chuffed as I knew the stamps were going to be in but didn't know they were going to put my name in too, so am very happy. You know what they say......'small things amuse small minds.....' lol.
Anyway, I hope everyone is well & happy & hopefully later I'm going to do a bit of blog hopping, lately I haven't had much chance as I've been really busy.
The weekend was fab! Jool & her gang came to stay with us & we all took ourselves off to Alton Towers for the day!
Yesterday was my eldest son Sam's 8th birthday, my baby 8!!! Can't quite believe where the time has gone.
Talking of Sam he very kindly gave me a list the other day of all the cards he wants for teachers, 'no rush Mom, just do them as soon as you can.......' ahhh bless him......mmmmmm lol.
I have made a few cards over the last week too, but can't show them at the moment. So, just need to get on with my ever growing list of to do's...........
Thanks for popping by & hopefully see you again soon,

Grandmother's love.....
Hello, I hope you are all well?!......
Having said my 'thank you's' I thought I'd show you this card. This was a first for me, as in I made it for a challenge on the DoCraft site...Clare's Challenge of the week. I've never made a card for a challenge before, other than the one I did for Vicki's blog candy a while back, but I thought I could muster something up for this one as you needed to incorporate some form of 'doodling, drawing' into your card.........well I thought...hehe.
This was another of my sketches from old photos, me, my nan & my cousin.
The pp is Papermania Silk Screened Paper, you can't see to well from the photo but there is a gorgeous sheen & finish to the surface mmm.....yummy!!!
Pink vellum, brads & eyelets are all Papermania too. The lace, braid & buttons are as before from a local shop.
As you might be able to see I have ever so slightly distressed.........lol.
Thanks for dropping by & hopefully I'll see you again soon,
