Please open......

Hi all, & a very happy Tuesday to you!
First week on school hols & so far not to bad, weather has been good, boys have been playing in the garden & as yet no complaints of being bored.........mmmm........wonder how long that will last?! lol.

Most of yesterday was spent at my Mom & Dad's where the boys were helping their Grandad. At the moment he's recovering from having a knee replacement op....we've told Tom that 'Grandad's had a new bionic knee, so as he can play football again!' Then to top it all, my Mom isn't too good either. I've come to the conclusion that you hit a certain age & role reversal kicks in, you worry more about your parents than they do of you!!!.......or is it just me?!.......

On a lighter note, a new card. Started tidying my craft area........should I say dining table lol & found an amount of bits & off cuts from the last few cards I've made, so decided to use them up. So we have pp's Basic Grey 'Perhaps' collection, sentiment again wrote & embossed, lace & buttons from stash & 'Fairy Martha' image.
Must say I was a bit brave with this card, I got my sewing machine out!!!!!!!!!
This was definitely a first, but I quite enjoyed using it & will do so again.

Anyway must get on as I seem to be creating a man made feature, an ever growing mountain..................of ironing!!!
Take care all, Kerry xxx

Beautiful card. I know what you mean about role reversal. I'm contantly worrying about my 88 yr old Mum.She's wonderful for her age and still gets around a lot but Has a few wee problems, which I contantly worry about. Can't stop watching the answer machine in case I get another call to go here or there. Could be worse so I try not to fret too much. X Vee
