......New Year to all!

.......Birthday, to Jools!

Hello there, thought I'd sit down for five minutes & pop a post on. Where has the time gone?!
I hope you all enjoyed the festive season & that Santa rewarded you for all of your good behaviour throughout last

Thought I'd share some of my decorations with you, a lil late in showing but oh well. Now they're taken down though, I can't believe how bare the rooms look! Is it just me, or do others think the same about their rooms?!

Our tree which was in the dining room, also known as my craft

Our living room fireplace decorated. (As I type now I'm sitting in front of this with the fire lit.........nice & toasty!)

Myself, I had a fab Christmas albeit hectic at times. The new year being no exception, again spending it with the 'family', ie. Jools & her gang. Lets just say we sang the new year in.........karaoke style. Hehe

The second of my 'happy's' is to Jools, who celebrates her birthday today. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!
Below is the card I made for her,

Floral pp is K&Co, I have to say I love it! I did toy with the idea of using some sort of image but thought the pattern said enough. The center flower, I've cut & layered for dimension along with a touch of tearing & distressing. Sentiment stamped & ribbons, lace & eyelets from stash.

So, if you've managed to get to the end of this post, &, you're still awake Well Done!
My intentions for the new year are to get back into my crafting & blogging too, I feel I've neglected both of late & I'm looking forward to catching up on what everyone else has been upto. See you soon!!!!!!

Hiya Kerry,

Great to 'see' you back in blogland. Your room looks so festive and inviting, sounds like you all had a lovely Christmas. Your so right, our home looks very bare now that all the trimmings are packed away.

Jools' card is gorgeous, love those papers and a cracking layout, as usual. I did send her a little parcel the beginning of the week, not sure if she's received it as yet, so I won't put it on my blog incase I spoil the surprise. Take care luvly, xx vicki xx

Hi Kerry, how lovely to see your wonderful christmas decorations. Your tree is truly fabulous and im so envious of your real fire!!! i would love a real fire, but sadly the people before us blocked it all up. We could open it up but its not in the centre of the room and i think that would soon bug me! I loved the card you made too, i love K & Co Papers. Yes im with you the house feel bare now the decorations are down. Not to worry though it will soon be time to put them up again , ha! ha! - only joking. Thank you for sharing with us. Hugs Linda x
