Hello all, as good as the weekend....yeah!! Time to relax & unwind, well whether that's wishful thinking I don't know but I'm going to try my best..hehe.
As you can see I've been playing again, we have a lil Edwin here which Jools very kindly passed onto me. Apologies, as Jools was sent this in a Rak & I can't remember who she said sent it, but will ask her when she's back from her jollies & give thanks.
Again I really enjoyed colouring this fellow in with my watercolour pencils. The paper set is another I got from Prima Hybrid....'About a boy'. I've got to say I love these pp's, the colours & patterns & distressed effect which I've added to ever so slightly.........lol.
I chose to use the car paper then wondered what to put Edwin on......................Tyres!! So, I doodled a couple of tyres & coloured them in, then came up with the sentiment, which made me chuckle when I thought of it. (sad I know.....lol) For the sentiment I've used Doodlebug simply sweet rub-ons, which was part of Vicki's candy the other week. Then, cut a couple of stars from one of the papers to give a little balance.

I've tried to match Edwins clothes to the colours in the papers & to make him look a lil mucky....hehe, & I'm really pleased with how he's turned out.
Again, with the tyres, I've tried to make them look dirty. When I was doodling the tyres my eldest was bewildered as to why I would want to draw "tyres". But, this is the same son that not to long back said "mom, when are you going to stop making cards with little drawings on & do something a bit more grown up?!...." I did laugh.
Thanks for dropping by & I hope you all enjoy your bank holiday weekend, see you soon.
