Now back to the daily routine of school run & ferrying the boys around to their various weekly activities, having had a fab time camping last week. Some how we managed to have mostly dry weather, one small downpour when we were on the beach one day but the kiddiwinks would have been happy to carry on with their castle building & cricket game! Roll on the next half term when we're off again, can't wait!!!
Here we have a card I made for one of my friends just before I went away. She sent me a message asking if I still made cards as she was trying to find something for her In-laws 45th Anniversary, with not much luck! So, showing her a Ruby card I'd made a while back I asked if something similar would suit......answer Yes!
Papers are all from a freebie download kit from Shabby Princess, ribbon, lace & buttons from my stash, verse from web. On the previous card I made I used a Wedding day piccie but my friend was unable to get one of her in-laws, so I found this copyright free image on the net & thought it would fit nicely.
As the title says, I see these kind of cards as 'grown up' probably because I don't make many like this but luckily my friend was pleased with the end result!
Oh well, I'd better go & finish the rest of my ironing..........the not nice part of going away!! lol
