But mummy says.......
Hello all, I hope half term week is going well for you. Must say it's nice not to be getting up so earlier & rushing around, just wish the weather was a bit better!
Above is the first card I've made up with one of the images Vicki very kindly sent me last week. Thank you Vicki!!
They really do take me back, I used to love things like this when I was little & I think they are so cute. I've coloured her in with my watercolour pencils & she's also had the ink treatment.......lol. Don't know why but I really love the distressed look, every card of late has fell under its spell!
The pp's are all from 'Be Beautiful' digital kit which is from Prima Hybrid, this is the same kit I used for the 'Rockchick' card, the more I use it the more I like it.
The sentiment is doodlebug rub-ons, another fav of mine at the moment. The image has been clear embossed which I feel helps to set the colours & gives a deeper effect. Then, Ive finished off with a few embellies which were once part of a bracelet I had, didn't like it anymore but it's come in handy now....lol.
Many thanks for dropping by & see you again soon,

Cards from friends.......
Hmmm.......do you think she's trying to say something about me?!........pmsl, only joking Cass.
Then, I had another lil surprise in the post. Vicki also sent me a fantastic card, which she had used one of her Kerry jo stamps on. This is the first 'real' (ie not on the puter) card that I had seen with any of the images on, ohh it was lovely!!!! Gorgeous card, & I just love the colours.
Vicki not only sent this but a matching 'so cute' wallet with some stamped images in to have a play with!
Just gorgeous & I've already started colouring in.........I'm like a lil kid!
Huge thank you's to you both, they were wonderful to receive & totally appreciated, as is your friendship!!
Hugs, Kerry xxxxxxxxxxxx
A few awards....
You rock my socks, this fab award, with very cool socks has been passed onto me by the lovley Vikki, (Vixx-a-craftin) thank you so much Vikki & for your very kind comments.
I now have to pass this to 3 fellow bloggers. Apologies if you have already received this ladies, but, here goes.......Cass (Pour some sugar on me) think the title of the award fits well.....lol & because I love popping over to her blog & having a nosey, whilst listening to great music! Zoe (A personal touch) I really love the style of Zoe's cards & again love having a nosey at her blog. And, last but by no means least Katy (Katy's bloggeroo) yummy yummy cards!! If you haven't come across any of these blogs please go check them out, they are all fab!!
Next I have received three, all from the very lovely Jo (Boots blogspot) 'You make my day', 'Arte Y Pico' & 'Blogging with a pupose'. The first two of these I have received previously so if you wouldn't mind Jo I'm just going to mention them......think I might have run out of peeps to pass them on to aswell lol, but huge thank you's for them.
The third being this, bloggin with a purpose. Again thank you so much Jo, it's most kind of you to want to pass them onto me. Jo has only recently started her blog but by the sounds of it is already hooked! Go check it out, it's fab.
Again, I need to pass this forward to fellow bloggers.........it really doesn't get any easier, so many to pass it onto but at the same time so many already received it.....lol
Anyway apologies again if you have already received this one but......Vicki (Paperlicious oasis) I'd say it's probably because of Vicki that I decided to start my own blog, so if anyone doesn't like my lil blog it's Vicki's fault........hehe, only joking!! Also, huge thank you Vicki for passing the circle of friends on to me, right back at you!!
Going back further, Michelle (Card Grotto) her cards since I first saw them on DoCrafts have always given such inspiration, a very talented lady. Also, as today is Michelle's birthday. 'Happy Birthday!'
Again, last but by no means least, Jools. (Simply Jools) All of this is her fault.......lol. She started this hobby of mine & got me into the mess I'm in today.....cheers Jool, I think...pmsl!
I love each of these blogs too, so if you get the chance pop over & see them!
Thank you, Kerry xxx

Goodbye's make me cry.......
The last couple of days have been lovely again, I've been having messages to say peeps have started to receive their stamps & I've had great pleasure in seeing cards made with them. From the start of all this I've been looking so forward to seeing different interpretations to the images, styles, colours etc..... When I originally drew each one they were with a person in mind or to go with a paper I wanted to use for the finished card, so to see them in different ways is brilliant!!
I just hope everyone who gets them, enjoys!
Anyway, today's card, another of my lil friends........wonder if I need to name them?!.......
Thought I would use some of my 12x12" papers, rather than just look at them which I know a lot of us do........lol. So I chose to use some Basic Grey papers I've had for a while now & coloured the image to suit, then clear embossed over. Again I tinkered with the edges a little, inking, distressing..... Made a sort of flower thingy with some organza ribbon & wrote the sentiment. The button (also used the same one on my last card) was actually a couple of spares attached to my eldest Son's shorts which I got for him last week, you know the extra ones you get in a lil packet.........lol. Must say I liked this as 'paper' & at first wasn't sure how to use it, but I'm pleased with how the card has turned out, think it gives a slight vintage feel.......or is that just me....
Many thanks for dropping by & if I don't post before the weekend, 'have a good one!'

When I grow up........
Hi all, hope you are happy & well! Thought I'd get back to why I started blogging & make a card.......lol. This last week has been a bit mad to say the least!!
Thought I'd introduce you to one of my new lil friends........wink, wink...hehe.
As I was making this card it got me thinking what did I want to do when I grew up? When I was about 14 I wanted to be a lawyer, that changed, then for the rest of my school days I wanted to go to Uni to do fine art. However, I got a place at art college & two weeks before I was due to start got offered a job in engineering & took it! Money to go out with won out........lol.
What did you want to do when you grew up?..........
Anyway, my lil friend has been coloured with water colour pencils & mounted on foam pads. Dotty pp is from a free digital download at Two peas in a bucket, train pp is from a digital kit at Prima hybrid. Sentiment is doodlebug rub-ons, & my fav thing at the mo, lots of inking & distressing! lol.
Hopefully I'll try & get some more of my 'new lil friends' made up.......
Thanks for popping by & hope to see you again soon,
Kerry xxx

Wooooooo hoooooooo!!!!!!!.............
OK, so I'm not to good at keeping certain secrets...............lol & its ok for me to tell you all.
If you hadn't already guessed this was partly what yesterday's post was about. Got home to find the postman had delivered these lil beauties, yeah heay! You could say I was a tad chuffed & walked around with a big smile on my face all day, I even took them down to the school playground when I picked my eldest up, as I'd been telling some of the mom's about whats going on.
If anyone is interested, they have received the stock & should be on the site at the weekend, at Debbi Moore Designs.
As far as I'm aware they are still at some point going on QVC, but not sure when.
And, I've now got my 'mugshot & bio' on the Creative Design Team page........hehe.
I'd just like to send HUGE THANKS to everyone who has encouraged me since I started doing my doodles & given me so much support, especially Jools if it wasn't for her this would never have happened! Big hugs Jools. xxx
AND!!!!!
If this wasn't enough to make me a very happy bunny, a few weeks ago I was contacted by someone (can't say too much....hehe...) who had 'seen' my blog. They wanted to know if I'd be interested in designing some stamps for them?!...............hmmmm.........let me think about that for a minute...........yeah!!!
So, you will hopefully, in the very near future be seeing some of my lil girl (as on the wallet thank you card I sent to Vicki) & matching unseen 'boys' as stamps!!! Hopefully over the next few weeks I'll try & make some cards up with them to give you a lil nosey.
There we have it, why I'm a very happy bunny!!!!! Don't really know if I'm coming or going at the minute, but in a good way!

Nan with love...........
Sorry, it feels such a long time since it was this nice out, maybe this is going to be a good week.......mmmm....... I hope so.
Thank you to all for the lovely comments about the 'cool dude' doodle here & on Docrafts, I've seen the first card made with him, & its brill, Maria has done a fantastic job with him. (Maria, hope you don't mind me mentioning...) I love seeing what other peeps can do with the doodles, all of the cards I have seen with the giraffe doodle are equally as brilliant!!
Above is the card I mentioned before, for my son's to give to their Nan next week. I've used an image from Vicki (thank you!..) & coloured her in to suit the papers, which along with the letters are from Shabby Princess. Again, I've distressed & inked the edges, its my 'thing' at the moment.......lol. The sentiment is Doodlebug rub-ons & I've added a Dovecraft brad.
I think this has ended up being a fussy card but I quite like that about it, lots of layers & things going on, a bit like my days...........hehe.
Many thanks for dropping by I hope to see you again soon,
Kerry xxx

Never tyre............
I chose to use the car paper then wondered what to put Edwin on......................Tyres!! So, I doodled a couple of tyres & coloured them in, then came up with the sentiment, which made me chuckle when I thought of it. (sad I know.....lol) For the sentiment I've used Doodlebug simply sweet rub-ons, which was part of Vicki's candy the other week. Then, cut a couple of stars from one of the papers to give a little balance.
