Goodbye's make me cry.......

Hello all, nearly the weekend again & a bank holiday at that. Dare I ask what the weather will be..........maybe not......

The last couple of days have been lovely again, I've been having messages to say peeps have started to receive their stamps & I've had great pleasure in seeing cards made with them. From the start of all this I've been looking so forward to seeing different interpretations to the images, styles, colours etc..... When I originally drew each one they were with a person in mind or to go with a paper I wanted to use for the finished card, so to see them in different ways is brilliant!!
I just hope everyone who gets them, enjoys!

Anyway, today's card, another of my lil friends........wonder if I need to name them?!.......

Thought I would use some of my 12x12" papers, rather than just look at them which I know a lot of us do........lol. So I chose to use some Basic Grey papers I've had for a while now & coloured the image to suit, then clear embossed over. Again I tinkered with the edges a little, inking, distressing..... Made a sort of flower thingy with some organza ribbon & wrote the sentiment. The button (also used the same one on my last card) was actually a couple of spares attached to my eldest Son's shorts which I got for him last week, you know the extra ones you get in a lil packet.........lol. Must say I liked this as 'paper' & at first wasn't sure how to use it, but I'm pleased with how the card has turned out, think it gives a slight vintage feel.......or is that just me....

Many thanks for dropping by & if I don't post before the weekend, 'have a good one!'

Glad I'm not the only one who keeps the spare buttons from new clothing Before I started making cards I used to through them away.....funny how things change when you become 'crafty'..lol. Hope you enjoy your Whitsun break too. xx vicki xx

By the way, I showed your card to my boyfriend and he said, "That's not cardmaking - that's art!"
